Our two new babies -
Special thanks must go to Jane Dawson (Quinhalo Shar Pei) for giving
us the pleasure of owning a son of her beautiful bitch Ch. Quinhalo
Dizzie Lizzie.
For those self opinionated, small minded individuals who continue to
try their very best to effect my presence in this breed, I send you
my deepest sympathy - I will continue to breed quality Shar Pei with
exceptional temperaments with all the integrity and high morals that
I have achieved over many years of being involved in breeding,
exhibiting and owning dogs of the very highest quality! I hope that
2008 will be a year that you will learn to concentrate on your own
misgivings, and failures and endeavour to improve the standards that
you set for yourselves. I will watch your kennels with interest, yes I
know who you are...surprise surprise !!!
Also special thanks must go to Colin and Mary Wills from the Hugapug
Pug Kennels in Devon, who have allowed me the pleasure of, yet again,
owning one of their babies - this time in black! Cilla will be
treasured along with my beautiful TC.
"Great Danes are Back in Black and
White"
What
can one say to such special breeders as Rory and Lynette Booth from
the Rorlyn Great Dane Kennels in Australia who bred my beautiful
Angela - Rorlyn Black on White for Yacanto. Their special caring and
dedication and willingness to entrust such a fabulous harli baby as
Angela and of course not forgetting her brother Osiris who is going
to be owned by Kim and John Wylie from the Yacanto Great Dane
Kennels in New Zealand, who also I owe gratitude to for keeping
Angela in their special caring to do her pet passport. Just to say
thanks does not seem enough, but I know I can speak on behalf of Kim
and myself that we shall do our very best for them both in and
outside of the show ring. God bless you!

HISTORY
::.
I
acquired my first Shar-Pei in the early 80's. She was a cream
horsecoat bitch purchased from Glenda Parkes. Lu-Lu, as I called her,
was the beginning of my breeding venture with Shar-Pei.
Lu-Lu's first litter by the Danish import China House Danish
Explorer produced the spectacular Yacanto Rosebud, who certainly
made her mark in the show ring. I mainly specialised in producing
horsecoats, with great temperament and plenty of wrinkles! I
continued breeding for nine years and then, due to the immense
success that I was having with my Great Danes, I decided it would be
prudent to concentrate on the Danes for the time being.
In 2001, I made a very special journey, one I had wanted to make for
a number of years. Mark and I are now the proud owners of six
Shar-Pei and would like to express our gratitude to the kennels, Chalmupo,
Forgevalley, Bellshou (Russia) and Skyota for our reintroduction
into this wonderful breed.
Our first homebred litter was produced early 2004 from which we kept
a beautiful male, Yacanto Mr. Gimley. Enquiries are welcome for our
stud dogs and future litters that we have planned.
Please see our photos of Shar-Pei past and present and enjoy!
Sincerely,
Diana Bousfield and Mark Kenny,
